Cognitive agents for accessible and inclusive education in the university classroom.

Objectives

Real-time access

Develop a system that captures the classroom scene and translates visual content into accessible formats such as audio, braille, or vibration.

Autonomy and verification

Enable students to validate or correct the AI’s descriptions, maintaining full control over their learning.

Accessibility alerts

Detect invisible access barriers during class and send discreet alerts to teaching staff to promote inclusive, shared teaching.

Transferable model

Validate the system in real-world settings to produce technical and pedagogical guidelines that can be replicated in other educational contexts.
